Organizational profile

 

Established in 1915, the Michigan Realtors® is an integrated advocacy and communications force for the real estate professionals of our State. We are the recognized public policy and legal advocate for private property rights, as well as the acknowledged leading resource for professional development, knowledge exchange, and wide-ranging business services.

Audience

The attendees of a Michigan Realtors® event are primarily Realtors® and real estate professionals; including managers, brokers and real estate salespersons. Attendees travel from across Michigan to participate in each event.

Education Focus

Sessions offered at Michigan Realtors® events are typically 50 or 100 minutes in length. Speaker considerations will be based on the speaker’s ability to address important issues facing the real estate industry, business best practices, or leadership development. Breakout class sizes may vary from 25-100 attendees.Keynote sizes vary from 200 –900 attendees.

Qualifications for CE approval/ CE Marketplace Credit

Courses for Michigan Realtors® events should be certifiable for real estate continuing education credit. Courses will be submitted for certification to the CE Marketplace by Michigan Realtors® and should meet the standards of real estate continuing education set forth by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. Budget/ Speaker Fee

Although the speaker should include a fee, the speaker compensation will be negotiated with the speaker or speaker’s designee at the time the speaker is contacted.

Handouts

All documents for attendee distribution must be received four weeks prior to the start of our conference. Michigan Realtors® reserves the right to approve presentation materials. PowerPoint slides and additional course materials will be offered electronically to attendees before and after the conference.
