MAR Droid/iPhone/Blackberry Application
This application is intended to be a quick link guide to MAR’s hottest covered topics and events that are currently happening or upcoming. We will keep this updated and current with the MAR web site on upcoming events, podcasts, videos, and legal updates. Enjoy.
Instructions for different phone versions use of the My MAR application.
iTunes (OS Version 4.2.6 or higher)
· In the browser, you can use this URL:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mymar/id406356124?mt=8· On the iTunes Store, search for Michigan Real Estate or
My MAR
· Once you download the app, the Member Access Code is
mirealtors followed by your
email address.
Droid / Android (OS Version 1.6 or higher)
· On your Droid or Android, go to the Android Market and search for My MAR
· Click on the app, and you will see information about it
· Click on the "Install" button. Android Market will tell you what sections of the phone the app has access to.
· Click OK. The app downloads automatically, and a message displays when it is finished downloading.
· Once you download the app, the Member Access Code is mirealtors followed by your email address.
BlackBerry (OS Version 4.0 or higher)
· On your BlackBerry Browser, go directly to this URL:
http://mcm.myremt.com/mirealtors.asp This URL will display the app directly on your phone. If you want to bookmark this, make sure that you input the URL into the bookmark -- it retrieves information about MAR, then redirects to http://mcm.myremt.com/index.asp. If you bookmark the main menu page, then it will not display the next time you try to use it.
· If the BlackBerry version is 4.6 or above, there is a link to download the app at the bottom of the Main Menu. Once it's downloaded, you can launch it from the icon.
Other Web-enabled Smart Phones
· Technically, we don't support any other versions besides iPhone, Android and BlackBerry. But practically speaking, the BlackBerry version is a browser-based version that can be accessed from any web-enabled smart phone. To access the app, use this URL:
http://mcm.myremt.com/mirealtors.asp· The same rules apply to bookmarking here as for the BlackBerry, specifically that in order to bookmark this, you must type the URL into the bookmark -- you cannot bookmark the Main Menu page.
