I ask for your support to represent you for the National Association of Realtors®-State Director. I have served in this capacity previously and would like to again represent our State’s membership at the National level.

I have a broad and complete background as a Realtor® member. In addition to being a co-owner and fulltime selling broker of Griffith Realty. I have committed many hours of service to the Realtor® organization. I have served on nearly all leadership positions of the Livingston County Association of Realtors®, including all offices. I have been honored three times as their Realtor® of the Year.

I have served as President of the Commercial Board of Realtors®. My 40+ year’s real estate experience has provided me a broad knowledge of our industry.

On the State level I have served all officer positions including President. In 2009, I was recognized as Realtor® of the Year for Michigan. I continue to serve on various State Task Forces, as requested.

On the National Association of Realtors® level, I have made notable contributions to the industry and would like to continue. I currently serve on the Strategic Thinking Committee (formerly Strategic Planning) which is a two-year commitment. I also serve on the Presidential Advisory Group (PAG) of the Realtor® Retirement/Financial Planning group and have served on the Realtor® Future group. In addition, I have served as the Chair of the GSE reform PAG which developed our policy position on GSE reform. Other service and leadership positions to NAR include Chair of the Research Committee, Taxation Committee, State and Local Fiscal Affairs, just to name a few. As you can see, I have stayed involved, even though I am not a current director.

Last year I receive the Realtor® Emeritus designation from NAR for my years of membership.

Public Policy is vital and of real significance to our industry. I have been a RPAC Life member 18 times. I have also served as the FPC for Congressman Mike Rogers.

My local community involvement is extensive and diverse. If you wish to learn more about my civic involvement, I encourage you to review my bio at Griffithrealty.com.

I still have a tremendous amount of passion and energy to share in support of our profession. I ask for your support to represent and serve you as NAR Director.

Thank you,

Scott Griffith
